Pre-SunFest Party
Mad Hatter promotions of Brevard County knows how to get the party started! Come out and meet others who will be staying and partying with you for the weekend of SunFest. This kick-off event is a great way to get ready for a fabulous weekend of food, drinks, music and FUN!

There is no group schedule planned for the first two nights of SunFest, but we have secured our lodging rates for the additional dates if you would like to get to our party early. Contact Gary at Mad Hatter Promotions for reservation information.
Friday April 30 Evening
Friday is casual, as our Mad Hatters group tends to arrive slowly throughout the day and into the evening. If interested in any of the festival music line-ups for Friday, it’s best to line-up companions ahead of time. We meet and mingle poolside throughout the day, so be sure to stop and enjoy a drink with others from the group.
AFTER Friday’s music concerts, we will be meeting at a venue close to our Best Western lodging. For those who register and book your SunFest trip through Mad Hatter Promotions, you will be updated with the venue information for our Friday gathering closer to the day of the event.
Saturday May 1
- Saturday morning we tour Palm Beach by bicycle along a bike path behind the mansions.
- Mid-day join us for the annual celebration of Okie Baughman’s birthday. Okie was the originator of this SunFest Brevard County group tour. We will honor his legacy by enjoying drinks on one of the three floating Captain Morgan oases. This gathering is always a huge success, and the antics are not to be missed!
- Saturday afternoon we meet at ER Bradley’s Saloon where we join in the commotion of celebrating the running of the Kentucky Derby. ER Bradley’s passes out free betting tickets -- winners get prizes!
- Enjoy the Saturday music line-up and other festival events in large or small groups.
- After the concerts join us for a Club Crawl! We will meet by Cuillo Playhouse.
Sunday May 2
- Group brunch in the morning and relaxing throughout the day
- Enjoy Sunday’s concert schedule and festival events in large or small groups.
- Join us for the official end of SunFest for the Verizon Wireless Fireworks Show at 9 p.m. This is one of the largest fireworks displays on the East Coast.
- You may choose to head for home, but lodging will be available at our group rate for Sunday evening as well.
Transportation to and from the festival events is available through The Best Western at a rate of only $18 per room for the whole weekend.
